Hebrews Part 11

The question of whether Jesus can truly stand between us and God as our mediator is fundamental to our faith. Unlike Old Testament priests who had to first offer sacrifices for their own sins before interceding for others, Jesus is the perfect High Priest. He was divinely appointed by God the Father in the order of Melchizedek, combining both kingship and priesthood. Through His suffering and obedience, Jesus learned what it means to be human while remaining sinless. His sacrifice was complete and eternal, making Him the source of salvation for all who trust in Him. Because Jesus understands our weaknesses and has opened the way to God through His perfect sacrifice, we can approach God with confidence, knowing our High Priest intercedes for us forever.
