Join us this Sunday at 10 am at Taylor County Middle School.
In the beginning church was simple. The very first believers did a few things naturally. Church just happened because people were committed to following Christ --there were no buildings or denominations, missions or visions, no church programs or guest services, no stage or lights or offering plates. It was simple: Jesus provided the way --a model --and believers devoted themselves to following his example, gathered together, and God attracted others. Over time church became cluttered. More people brought need for more structure and planning. A majority of the New Testament was written to guide, lead and correct followers of Jesus as they attempted to figure out how to follow Jesus together. Maybe church is not what we think it is. Maybe we have over-complicated it. Maybe it’s time to rethink church.
